Ingredients
- 500g liver
- 4 apples (preferably Golden Delicious)
- 1 small onion
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 to 2 teaspoons pepper (adjust to taste)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic
Instructions
- Prepare the Apples : Peel the apples and cut them into small pieces.
- Prepare the Onion and Garlic Base : In a saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic cloves. Cook until the mixture turns into a thick sauce, stirring occasionally.
- Add Soy Sauce and Seasonings : Add the soy sauce, pepper and salt to the onion and garlic sauce. Mix well and cook over low heat. When ready, remove from heat and let sit with the lid on the pan.
- Prepare the Liver : Season the liver pieces with salt and pepper. Roast the liver in a hot skillet for a short time, just long enough so that it is tender and not rubbery.
- Assemble the Dish : Place the cooked liver on the plate and add the apple and onion mixture on top.
